Visiting Hospice premises

Help us protect the health and wellbeing of people in our care, and those volunteering or working with us

Hospice premises and In-Patient Unit in Tikipunga

Please do not visit North Haven Hospice's premises in Tikipunga:

  • if you are unwell (including common cold or flu symptoms)
  • if you should be in self-isolation
  • if you've been in contact with someone with or suspected to have COVID-19
  • if you've had close contact with someone who has been out of NZ in the past 14 days

If you plan to visit North Haven Hospice's premises,
please download and read our Visiting at North Haven Hospice - House Rules.

North Haven Hospice Shops

Our Hospice Shops in Whangarei's CBD and in Waipu are closed until further notice

Please note that until we reopen we cannot accept donations of goods.

Also, please do not leave any items outside our shops. They risk being rummaged through and potentially damaged, and anything not saleable costs us a significant amount of money to dispose of; money we simply cannot spare.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to welcoming you back when the situation allows.

Thank you and take care

Thank you for your support to help protect the health and wellbeing of our patients, their families/whanau, and our volunteers and staff.

Also, please take care of yourselves and your loved ones during this uncertain and worrying time. If you know someone who is on their own, please check in with them; ask if they're okay or if they need anything. Let's consider our wider community as we all do our bit to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
