Quality Care with a Community Heart

Whilst our specialist care and support is free of charge, it is expensive to provide. However, we are only partly Government-funded, via Northland DHB. The gap between the DHB funding received and the actual cost to provide the service we give is $1.89 million for the 2019/20 year. This is what we need to fundraise, which works out to over $36,000 every week!

Your support can be a one-off donation, a regular donation, or perhaps a legacy gift in your Will.  All donations stay in our area (the Whangarei District and south-east of Kaipara District) to ensure North Haven Hospice care and support remains accessible for local people. You never know when you or a loved one may need Hospice.

Leaving a bequest in your Will

When you make a Will, you provide for future generations. Making a Will is an act of generosity and an investment in the future  -  a legacy.

Including a bequest to North Haven Hospice in your Will extends that legacy from your family to your community.  Hospice provides an essential health service throughout the Whangarei District and south-east of Kaipara District.  Your bequest will make a significant contribution to the essential fundraising we need to do each and every year towards providing specilaist palliative care for local people living with a life-limiting illness and support for their family/whanau.

It is a wonderful legacy to leave.
