Designed for any healthcare worker, registered and non-registered staff caring for people with a palliative care need. Being educated about palliative care will help you improve the assessment and outcomes for people in your care, their family and whānau, as well as yourself and other health care workers. This programme involves online learning, followed by a one day workshop to review and apply theory, with opportunities for practical application. Robert turned 40 on November 9, 2025 and has Stage 4 cancer in both lungs and his kidneys, escalating into other areas of his body. In December, he came to North Haven Hospice’s in-patient unit for the second time.
