Held at the Northland Golf Club, the Lions Club of Whangārei is holding their 31st Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday 22 March, 2025. The event is open to affiliated and non-affiliated golfers in teams of four, mens, ladies or mixed. Gross, Nett, Stableford and Novelty prizes are up for grabs! Proceeds will go to North Haven Hospice and St Johns. Entry fee for a team with food and refreshments provided - $260 + GST. Lots of fun and a great day out! Robert turned 40 on November 9, 2025 and has Stage 4 cancer in both lungs and his kidneys, escalating into other areas of his body. In December, he came to North Haven Hospice’s in-patient unit for the second time.
